First I want to start off by saying Congrats to everyone for all the hard work you have put into this Free Company and into each other. We have gone a long way in a very short amount of time.. and we hope to only keep things growing and getting better for everyone and because of this.. we have decided to change a few things with the rank structure and certain functions to the Free Company.

Some of you may have noticed your rank go down or up within the last couple days, but we want to let all of you know.. that just because you may have "lost" a rank does NOT mean you were actually demoted.

Rank Structure

Originally we wanted to create a rank system that made everyone have a sense of accomplishment when they moved up from one rank to another.. and when the FC first started.. this was very easy to do, and it worked pretty well.. and with the recruiters rank.. we actually gained a lot of members and for all the previous Flapjacks and Crepes.. we very much appreciate your efforts which have made this FC what it is today.

However, things were a bit confusing and now that times are changing, we are progressing through the game, more and more people are hitting 50 and we have hit our goal of 70+ members it's about time we change to better fit the current circumstances.

With the New Structure we decided it was best to have less ranks, but be more rewarding while also carrying more responsibility. This allows less confusion and more clarity for what ranks are what. We are also taking serious note in everyone who has done so much for the FC and want everyone to remain calm. We will be offering promotions as time continues and want everyone to know that even if you don't get a promotion offered to you in the upcoming future.. it does not mean we do not value your contribution or love you any less and as we have always claimed.. there is always room to be rise up in this FC so don't give up!

The two former ranks Crepe and Flapjack were almost two in the same and have been removed from the rank structure and the members from those ranks have been moved to Pancakes. Maple Squire has been renamed to Maple Officer to cause less confusion.

We decided it would be best to keep Senior members and regular members in the same rank to cause less confusion and not make anyone feel as if Senior members have superiority over regular members. This allows the community to be more connected.

We are also implementing a system to keep our FC roster clean.
Please note that it's not to make anyone feel like they are not a part of the FC
or that we do not love them.. however we have people that are nearing 30 days of inactivity.. and while we are no where near the max cap of people in an FC, we do not want to be consisted of just numbers and there for we are doing the following:

20 days of inactivity = Demotion to Hotcake
30 days of inactivity = Removed from the FC with a mail message.

The Mail message will tell you the reason of your removal along with letting you know that you are always welcome back into the FC if you decide to become more active.

Note that if you ever find your self in a position that requires you to be gone that long all you need to do is inform one of the Council members or an Officer that you will be inactivie for x amount of time.. and you're standing in the FC will not be affected.

Also if you come back before the 30 days of inactivity your status in the FC may be restored.

Good job vie :D nice clarification.

But i think the inactivity for being removed from the fc should be at least 35 days imo but that's just me
